Description slatchurie 2018-01-11 14:01:04 UTC
Hello,

It seems the Redhat's French translation for the network-manager-applet is pushed from time to time from Zanata to the git project.
But the translation is a bit outdated.

Right now, a lot of lines are tagged as "fuzzy" and are not translated anymore and the applet feels half translated (on Fedora Xfce for example).

I hope this is the right place, because I haven't found it on zanata.org

Best regards

network-manager-applet is hosted on https://l10n.gnome.org/module/network-manager-applet/ and any contributions should (theoretically) go through the GNOME translation team (https://l10n.gnome.org/teams/fr/).

I don’t think we can do anything about it.

Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply.
I guess I will have to report this to the French Gnome translation team.

But according to this, https://github.com/NetworkManager/network-manager-applet/commit/0602c3fa6c62c7a3781fb6004d700a70dbbd4594#diff-42793ab00dcd448b33776fc86e5eaaf4
the commit says "translations from the Red Hat translators" and the translation comes from Zanata.

It is a bit confusing.

This commit was done without consulting the GNOME translation project, sadly.
