Description Shirly Radco 2018-01-14 12:36:07 UTC
Description of problem:
Old VDSM still send hosts statistics and fluentd should filter them out

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use old vdsm like vdsm-4.19.36-1.el7ev.x86_64
2. Set up ovirt engine metrics to send logs.
3. Check in the visualization for: collectd.plugin:statsd AND collectd.type:gauge

Actual results:
We get metrics that their type_instance is something like :
hosts.nic.*
hosts.disk.*
hosts.cpu.*
hosts.memory.*

Expected results:
No records should meet this condition

Additional info:

Comment 1 Lukas Svaty 2018-01-29 16:03:53 UTC
