Created attachment 1382131 [details] GNOME Software showing error when trying to install the RPM Fusion repository package Description of problem: RPM Fusion repository cannot be enabled using GNOME Software on Fedora 27. It looks like that some update broke it. It works without any issue on vanilla (installed from the Fedora 27 Workstation iso, not updated afterwards) F27 image, but fails when trying on a fully updated F27. See the attached screenshot. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-software-3.26.5-1.fc27.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use a fully updated F27 image, without RPM Fusion repository previously added. 2. Download: https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-27.noarch.rpm 3. Try to install it using GNOME Software. Actual results: Installation failed with "failed to find rpmfusion-free-release". Expected results: RPM Fusion repository package successfully installed. Additional info: This is all I was able to get from the journal log: Jan 16 18:59:24 localhost.localdomain PackageKit[1245]: repo-enable transaction /29_cbedccec from uid 1000 finished with failed after 1ms Jan 16 18:59:24 localhost.localdomain gnome-software[1816]: failed to call gs_plugin_app_install on packagekit: [system/package/rpmfusion-free-release-27.noarch.rpm/source/rpmfusion-free-release/*] failed to find rpmfusion-free-release It works without any issues when installed using dnf or pkcon.
