Description of problem:
Customer has found that automated builds are periodically failing with error messages almost identical to those found in [0] in their environment.

Looks like github issue [0] is being worked actively but I could not locate a bugzilla for it.

This is fundamentally a containers issue.  It appears Vivek is driving it from that team's perspective, but Vivek please reassign to someone on the containers team as appropriate if necessary.
