Description of problem: I attempted to perform a mock build against a Rawhide (f28) buildroot. SELinux is preventing pmdalinux from 'getattr' accesses on the directory /var/lib/mock. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ************************** If you believe that pmdalinux should be allowed getattr access on the mock directory by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # ausearch -c 'pmdalinux' --raw | audit2allow -M my-pmdalinux # semodule -X 300 -i my-pmdalinux.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:pcp_pmcd_t:s0 Target Context system_u:object_r:mock_var_lib_t:s0 Target Objects /var/lib/mock [ dir ] Source pmdalinux Source Path pmdalinux Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages Target RPM Packages mock-1.4.8-1.fc27.noarch Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.13.1-283.21.fc27.noarch Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 4.14.13-300.fc27.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jan 11 04:00:01 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 1 First Seen 2018-01-18 12:37:48 EST Last Seen 2018-01-18 12:37:48 EST Local ID d323dd39-804c-453d-851f-7c09508c381a Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1516297068.45:619): avc: denied { getattr } for pid=2016 comm="pmdalinux" path="/var/lib/mock" dev="dm-1" ino=281694 scontext=system_u:system_r:pcp_pmcd_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:mock_var_lib_t:s0 tclass=dir permissive=0 Hash: pmdalinux,pcp_pmcd_t,mock_var_lib_t,dir,getattr Version-Release number of selected component: selinux-policy-3.13.1-283.21.fc27.noarch Additional info: component: selinux-policy reporter: libreport-2.9.3 hashmarkername: setroubleshoot kernel: 4.14.13-300.fc27.x86_64 type: libreport
