Verified on engine 4.3.0.4-0.1.el7 This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.3.0 release, published on February 4th 2019. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.3.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
Created attachment 1384907 [details] screen shots, ui logs Description of problem: When creating a new iscsi domain with newly created unused LUNs and error message is displayed describing the luns as In use and requiring authorization to continue using them. This is confusing and incorrect. When not checking the text box and pressing OK the check box field is highlighted in black. In other windows when a required field is missing when pressing ok, those windows are highlighted in red. Create new LUNs on storage provider 2. Webadmin > Create new Domain > Select one of the new LUNs and press OK >>>>> An error message appears indicating the the LUNs are already in use and that the operation is destructive 3. Press OK >>>>> The check box field is highlighted in black to draw the users attention to the required missing field. This should be in red as with other windows e.g Create VM without the name and press ok Actual results: The check box field is highlighted in black to draw the users attention to the required missing field Expected results: The missing required field should be highlighted in red as with other windows e.g. missing vm name field in Create vm window Additional info: See screen shots
