I'm running the test in a loop with latest master version and it has not failed after more than 40 runs.

Can you check if you still see this failure ? if not, we can close the bug.

I am not able to re-produce it now on my laptop.

I think we can close this bug and abandon patch.

Given we are unable to reproduce the problem and that the latest failure on a regression run was on 24th August (based on fstat.gluster.org), I'm closing this bug.
