First this can work only if you use --bootstrap-chroot Initial work done in: * 3229566 (HEAD -> devel) do not run ccache in bootstrap chroot [RHBZ#1540813] * 38b3627 use DNF on EL7 when bootstrap is used [RHBZ#1540813] but still in the bootstrap chroot is not installed dnf-plugins-core. Notes for myself: it seem that the code use yum_install_command instead of dnf_install_command.
Yeah, I'm switching to bootstrap - but as you noted I'm also having to install dnf locally to get it to work - seems like it should install the bootstrap with yum and then dnf for the rest. Thanks.
Commits: * bfb431a (HEAD -> devel) "setup_cmd" of bootstrap container is the actuall $pm_install_command from the main container [RHBZ#1540813] * fe62523 do not produce warning when we are using different PM for bootstrap container It should work now. I tested both building rawhide on EL7 and building EL7 on F27. You can try it from the nightly repo in Copr. I will welcome any feedback and testing as this gave me a hard time. If there will be no negative feedback I will cut the release next week.
