The host to VM affinity can now be explicitly disabled, as described in Bug 1493149.
This change adds 4 new columns to the affinity group table in the UI:
- 'vm polarity' - Shows if the VM affinity is positive, negative or disabled
- 'vm enforcing' - Shows if the VM affinity is enforcing or not
- 'host polarity' - Shows if the VM to host affinity is positive, negative or disabled
- 'host enforcing' - Shows if the VM to host affinity is enforcing or not

*** Bug 1551544 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Any updates? Working on it. I posted the backend patches. The frontend one needs a little more work. removing blocker, not a regression from 4.1. the value actually is changing just not reflected in the UI. still a high priority. Verified on rhv-release-4.2.3-2-001.noarch. The window is updated correctly, like the rest API response. This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.2.3 release, published on May 4th 2018. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.2.3 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
