The Samba version of Red Hat Gluster Storage is updated so that it is not overwritten by the Samba version at a later Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. Installing this update either prior to or along with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux update ensures continued functionality of the SMB features of the Red Hat Gluster Storage installation.

Package upgrade validated and functionality testing also done.
Moving this bug to verified.
