Doc Text:
Cause: When multiple roles, with long names, are assigned to a user, the roles do no wrap below. Consequence: It causes the page layout to break. And pushes the "Add another role" form select input off the screen, thus prevent additional roles from being assigned to the user. Fix: Allow roles to vertically stack. Result: The "Add another role" select input field remains in place.

Comment 1 Juan Vallejo 2018-02-15 11:31:16 EST
Thanks for reporting this. It looks to be a webconsole bug, so I'm moving this to the appropriate component.
Comment 2 bpeterse 2018-02-15 11:55:39 EST
This has been fixed in newer versions of the web console.

Comment 4 Samuel Padgett 2018-02-16 13:21:38 EST
We're going to look at backporting to 3.6.z.
Comment 5 Steve Goodwin 2018-02-19 15:01:12 EST
PR merged into 3.6
https://github.com/openshift/origin-web-console/pull/2807
Comment 7 Yanping Zhang 2018-03-01 02:19:46 EST
Checked on OCP 3.6.173.0.104-1, the puddle seems not containing the fix.
We need a new puddle with the fix for the bug.
Comment 9 Yanping Zhang 2018-03-08 01:02:28 EST
There is still no new 3.6 puddle. Wait for a new 3.6 puddle with the fix to verify the bug.
Comment 10 Yadan Pei 2018-03-08 19:47:17 EST
Move to MODIFIED since no testable puddles
Comment 12 Yadan Pei 2018-03-12 21:36:26 EDT
Fix is merged but v3.6.173.0.104 doesn't include it, no new puddles now.
Comment 13 Yanping Zhang 2018-03-14 01:43:14 EDT
Tested on OCP v3.6.173.0.105, when add roles on membership page, the roles will layout in multiple lines automatically according to the page width, and could always add roles.
The bug has been fixed, so move it to Verified.
