Documentation is needed to outline how operators can update existing amphora instances to run on latest amphora images. A note should be present to warn operators that load balancers on active/standby topology can be updated without experiencing downtime, while on standalone topology outage might (will?) be experienced. The process of updating running amphora instances is refereed upstream as rotating amphora images upstream and is documented in [1]. [1] https://docs.openstack.org/octavia/latest/admin/guides/operator-maintenance.html#rotating-the-amphora-images
I will take a first cut experimenting the process of updating amphorae and document the flow with commands and comments.
Moving back to 'NEW' to be scoped and reviewed for priority. Setting assignee back to documentation team default.
