This is needed by the Ceph project, a runtime dependency which is preventing the project to build for Python3 using CentOS 7.

If I am understanding correctly, this would have to go through the whole package review process again as a new (EPEL-only) package, since we specifically need to avoid conflicting with the python2 version.

I looked at another such package (python3-sphinx) and that's how that one was done.

If someone wants to take on that work, be my guest. :)
