Description of problem:

GCC 8.0 -Wextra includes -Wcast-function-type, which leads to compilation errors on GObject code when combined with -Werror.

As far as I can see rawhide is building glib2-2.55.2 so I guess pulling the master branch changes would be applicable.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 28 development cycle.
Changing version to '28'.

At least "libnice" package on F28+ is affected by this issue, see bug #1541646

Can you please add this bug to https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-5ebe0eb1f2 ? I verified with a build against rawhide that this issue is fixed with glib2 2.56.0 .
