Description of problem:
Package gdal fails to build from source in Fedora rawhide.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.2.3-9.fc28

Steps to Reproduce:
koji build --scratch f28 gdal-2.2.3-9.fc28.src.rpm

This is because pdftex is segfaulting on i686. Also it's blocking my cp2k build.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 28 development cycle.
Changing version to '28'.

The pdftex issue should be resolved with the latest texlive build, please try again.

gdal-2.2.3-11.fc28 and gdal-2.2.3-11.fc29  built , thanks pbrobinson
