*** Bug 1546979 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** When fixing/verifying current bug, need to verify also rollback of dwh upgrade on separate machine. Didn't verify this flow in https://gerrit.ovirt.org/87800 due to current bug. Installation successful (with use of patch in Bug 1552539), rollback on upgrade was tested within Bug 1547018. And all worked as expected. verified in ovirt-engine-dwh-setup-4.2.2.1-1.el7ev.noarch This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.2.2 release, published on March 28th 2018. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.2.2 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
Description of problem: Installation of DWH on separate machine fails with error Failed to execute stage 'Environment customization': 'OVESETUP_PROVISIONING/postgresProvisioningEnabled' I used setup default values on the engine. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-dwh-setup-4.2.2-1.el7ev.noarch How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install 4.2.2 engine without dwh (for other setup values use default), engine is running 2. on separate machine install dwh # yum install ovirt-engine-dwh-setup # engine-setup 3. enter engine's fqdn Actual results: setup fails with error [ ERROR ] Failed to execute stage 'Environment customization': 'OVESETUP_PROVISIONING/postgresProvisioningEnabled' [ INFO ] Stage: Clean up Log file is located at /var/log/ovirt-engine/setup/ovirt-engine-setup-20180220091619-ympz1b.log [WARNING] Remote engine was not configured to be able to access DWH, please check the logs. Expected results: setup is successful
