Description Vladimir 2018-02-20 16:14:07 UTC
Description of problem:
Disks storage domain is reported incorrectly when using VM pool with auto storage select enabled

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.2.1.4-0.1.el7

How reproducible: 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create template from any VM with disk on nfs_0 storage
2. Copy this template disk to nfs_1 storage
3. Create VM pool from this template select 'latest' version, set pool size to 8, check use auto storage select under Resource allocation tab,
4. Run pool VMs

Actual results:
All disks are show as if they are on one storage domain

Expected results:
Half of the disks are shown on 1 storage domain and half on the other

Additional info:
When I check disks storage domain using api storage domain is reported correctly, e.g. hals of the disks are on nfs_0 and half are on nfs_1

for oVirt issues please file oVirt bugs, not RHV

Comment 2 Shmuel Melamud 2018-02-27 22:55:30 UTC
Vladimir, what do you mean under "All disks are show as if they are on one storage domain"? Where do you see that?

I look into "Storage > Disks > <disk name> > Storage" and the storage domain here is designated correctly.

Hi, I've checked again using 4.2.3.2-0.1.el7 and I cannot reproduce it, storage domains are reported correcdly so closing it as not a bug
