Description Lars Kellogg-Stedman 2018-02-21 20:20:16 UTC
Description of problem:

In 5.8.3.3.20180208212148_8efa813, it is possible for the tenant synchronization process to fail with errors along the lines of:

[----] E, [2018-02-21T12:07:20.769528 #12954:935134] ERROR -- : MIQ(MiqQueue#deliver) Message id: [1234000008662121], Error: [Validation failed: Name should be unique per parent]
[----] E, [2018-02-21T12:07:20.769730 #12954:935134] ERROR -- : [ActiveRecord::RecordInvalid]: Validation failed: Name should be unique per parent  Method:[rescue in deliver]
[----] E, [2018-02-21T12:07:20.770048 #12954:935134] ERROR -- : /opt/rh/cfme-gemset/gems/activerecord-5.0.3/lib/active_record/validations.rb:78:in `raise_validation_error'

This prevents the tenant mapping process from completely successfully, but these errors are not reported in the UI: the "Last refresh" field for the cloud provider will report "Success".

These errors should be reported in the CloudForms UI.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

This is a duplicate of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1547740 -- one bug describes the symptom, the other describes the root cause.
