Description Rafael Kitover 2018-02-23 15:29:51 UTC
Hi I filed a pull request on pagure for this:

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/mingw-gcc/pull-request/1

The problem is described here:

https://github.com/Alexpux/MINGW-packages/issues/1580

Comment 1 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-06 05:46:59 UTC
Could someone look at this please?

Comment 2 Kalev Lember 2018-04-06 12:41:57 UTC
Sorry for the delay and thanks for the patch!

Could you update the pull request to a) add a changelog entry to the spec file + bump the release number, and b) add a comment to the spec file above the Patch line, explaining what the patch does?

Also, could you please file an issue upstream at https://gcc.gnu.org/bugs/ so it could get properly fixed without us having to carry a patch forever?

Comment 3 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-08 03:36:08 UTC
Hi, thank you for responding.

I made the changes you requested to the PR.

I filed a bug with the mingw-w64 project, but please be advised that they do not have the resources to look at the vast majority of bugs.

Comment 4 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-08 04:26:20 UTC
By the way 7.3.0 is out (the patch is still needed for 7.3.0 unfortunately.)

Comment 5 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-08 07:25:29 UTC
It looks like I submitted a bug to the wrong project, I'll try to make a proper bug report for upstream gcc.

Comment 6 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-08 20:38:49 UTC
Looks like the gcc bugzilla is locked, I requested an account, once I figure out how to submit a bug to the appropriate place I'll update this one.

Comment 7 Kalev Lember 2018-04-08 21:39:38 UTC
Awesome, thanks! Merged the PR now.

Comment 8 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-09 09:12:35 UTC
Thank you for merging the PR!

I've gotten my gcc bugzilla account and have reported the bug here:

https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=85298

Comment 9 Kalev Lember 2018-04-09 10:22:12 UTC
Great, thanks!

Comment 10 Rafael Kitover 2018-04-09 18:02:25 UTC
Would you consider pushing this to bodhi for f27 and f28? I'm guessing f28 is already branched and it won't make it there otherwise.

Comment 11 Kalev Lember 2018-07-10 08:12:59 UTC
Sorry, I forgot about the f27 and f28 updates, doing them now.
