Yoder - Either option will work around the issue. The problem in both cases is that the refresh of the VM metadata will now happen after the Policy event for VM reconfigure is run. This may not be an issue if the user does not have any policies wired to this event or if their policy action does not rely on the updated VM data being in the database. This issue was fixed as part of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1534631 and the PRs for the fix are: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/pull/16868 https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-content/pull/243
