/usr/lib64/liblockfile.so.1.0 in liblockfile-1.09-8.fc28.x86_64 has not been linked with the standard Fedora linker flags (LDFLAGS) from redhat-rpm-config. gcc -fPIC -shared -Wl,-soname,liblockfile.so.1 \ -o liblockfile.so lockfile.o -lc The %configure invocation normally takes care of setting LDFLAGS, so the package makefiles probably need fixing.
