Description Prasanna Kumar Kalever 2018-03-13 12:45:35 UTC
Description of problem:

With tcmu_notify_conn_lost() if the reconfig (done as part of resize) fails the tcmu_reopen_dev() is invoked in a loop until reopen success.

And When reconfig fails the tcmu_notify_conn_lost() will internally disable the ALUA default_tg_pt_gp/glfs_tg_pt_gp group. And once the tcmu_reopen_dev() is successful it will automatically move default_tg_pt_gp/glfs_tg_pt_gp group to enabled.

Additional info:
Need to backport the alua code from upstream tcmu-runner.

Just a Note: This doesn't mean that gluster supports ALUA, we are just reusing some code to address reconfig failures.
