Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Andrew Sanders 2018-03-15 18:10:41 UTC
Description of problem:

I have 7 unregistered hosts. When I click the link to view the list of the hosts it shows me nothing.
The URL that the link points to is:
https://<FQDN>/content_hosts?search=null?%20subscription_uuid

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Satellite 6.3.

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow link for unregistered hosts.

Actual results:

Empty search results of no hosts are displayed.

Expected results:

All unregistered guests should be displayed.

Additional info:

Testing with the search function shows that the following URL displays what is expected...perhaps this is what the link should be in the UI:

https://<FQDN>/content_hosts?search=%20subscription_status%20%3D%20%20unsubscribed_hypervisor&page=1&per_page=20&sortBy=name&sortOrder=ASC

Comment 2 Brad Buckingham 2018-03-16 15:13:47 UTC
Can you confirm the steps to reproduce?

e.g. Was this a link on the Dashboard?

Satellite 6.3 - Content Hosts - Unreigistered

Comment 16 rakesh kumar 2019-04-12 05:00:18 UTC
Hello,

I am able to reproduce the issue on Satellite 6.5(beta) as well, here are reproducer steps:

-> Configure virt-who on Satellite

-> Go to Monitor >> Dashboard >> Host Subscription Status

-> It will show all the hypervisors as unregister hosts but when we click on the count, it redirects to content host page with filter 'null? subscription_uuid' but does not list any system/hypervisor.

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite 6 since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/27079 has been resolved.
