Hi, the PDF has wrong values (too high) in some of its transformation matrices and this causes CAIRO_STATUS_NO_MEMORY error which is not handled in evince. I've created an upstream bug for this and attached a patch there https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=794703. But this just fixes issue of UI artifacts shown when evince tries to open this PDF. Unfortunately, this does not fix the issue with showing of the PDF. I'll try to fix this in poppler yet.
The software library provided by Google's open source project PDFium is then involved and by extension Foxit that supplies the open source PDF rendering engine for this project.
Hi, I've proposed a patch for the poppler part of this issue. I'll wait for upstream's decision before pushing to Fedora.
It sounds good to me. I have upgraded to the pre-release today; fix may come before the stable one.
