We need to add it :)

Comment 1 Jason E. Rist 2018-03-16 14:57:30 UTC
Patch up for review: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/552647/

Comment 2 Julie Pichon 2018-03-16 15:22:52 UTC
Copying the impact here for additional clarity on the severity/priority: by default it's not possible to assign nodes to a deployment plan and therefore not possible to deploy from the UI.

Actual result: step 3 on the "plan" page just stays stuck in "Loading deployment roles" and a "Flavors could not be loaded. Connection to Nova API could not be established." message pops up.

Workaround, to at least unblock testing: Add 'nova' to /var/www/openstack-tripleo-ui/dist/tripleo_ui_config.js (direct, non-proxied URL, e.g. 'nova': 'http://virthost:8774/v2.1',) and reload the UI. Make sure the firewall/tunnel are set up with this port as well, if necessary - that won't be necessary when the final fix is ready.

Comment 8 Julie Pichon 2018-04-03 12:44:49 UTC
All stable/queens backports have now also merged upstream.

Comment 10 Jason E. Rist 2018-04-06 15:23:06 UTC
The UI works, [cors] is turned on for nova, and the correct URL is present in tripleo_ui_config.js

Comment 11 Jason E. Rist 2018-04-06 15:30:31 UTC
Fixed in the following packages:

instack-undercloud-8.4.0-2.el7ost.noarch
puppet-tripleo-8.3.2-0.20180327181745.40b702f.el7ost.noarch
openstack-tripleo-ui-8.3.1-2.el7ost.noarch
