This is related to upstream bug https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/issues/1115 the pull request is mentioned at https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/pull/1127 The epass2003 hardware fails on the latest Opensc package in fedora because of this issue.
The linked PR was not merged. The reason why I wanted a specific bug report was to figure out what really needs to be fixed, avoid going through all the comments again, searching what all commits need to be pulled and bothering everyone else in upstream issue. The PR, which was merged is https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/pull/1145 (commit 8d73464). Can you verify that it is really the only thing to fix? Can you verify the following build fixes your issue (assuming you are using latest Fedora 27)? https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=25822109 If so. I will issue a updates. Thanks.
The old build is gone. Can you give it a second and verify that this change fixes the issue? https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=26003681
