Description of problem:
when updating, local changes in /etc/log.d/scripts/services/* are lost and no .rpmnew or .orig files are created

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
logwatch-5.2.2-1.FC3.1

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. make local changes in /etc/log.d/scripts/services/postfix for instance
2. update to logwatch-5.2.2-1.FC3.1

  

Actual Results:  local changes are lost

Expected Results:  .rpmnew or .orig file should have been created

This is not a bug because these files (in /etc/log.d/scripts/services/) are in
fact executables. This is the same as if you compile your own binary, for
example /bin/bash. So when you upgrade bash, this file /bin/bash will be
replaced. Files that have backups are config files.
