The version of perl-Gtk2-Unique is out of date. As you can see in the discussion here : https://bugs.launchpad.net/shutter/+bug/1529645, the old version of perl-gtk2-unique causes shutter to crash when you try to open it if there is another running instance.
perl-Gtk2-Unique version is 0.05 in Fedora 27 <https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=12135>. Latest upstream version is 0.05 <http://search.cpan.org/~potyl/Gtk2-Unique/>. It's definitely not out-dated. Aren't you more after including patch for Gtk2-Unique bug <https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=120115>?
Yes, indeed, the version is uptodate, but it has this bug which imo should be patched with the patch that you refered to.
I confirm that the bug is reproducible in Fedora 27 and that it the patch fixes it. I hope this Fedora packages maintainer will apply it soon. Otherwise I will do it.
