Description Michael Simacek 2018-03-26 14:42:56 UTC
There are 24 open bugs for the component (not counting plugins).
There are 33 unfixed CVEs.
The latest upstream version is 2.107, while the package version in Fedora is 1.651
Most of the plugins are FTBFS for multiple Fedora releases.

The package is unmaintained. We should strive to avoid shipping broken software.
If you don't have the time to maintain it, please orphan/retire it.

Comment 1 Michael Simacek 2018-04-03 10:29:59 UTC
I'm asking you to respond in accordance with Policy for nonresponsive maintainers.

Note for others: I can reach the maintainer just fine, but he doesn't maintain his packages.

Comment 2 Jan Kurik 2018-08-14 10:09:16 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle.
Changing version to '29'.

Comment 3 greg.hellings 2019-05-13 01:41:10 UTC
Any movement on this? I'd love to see the packages better maintained. I'm happy to adopt it if needed.

Comment 4 greg.hellings 2019-07-16 18:18:26 UTC
@Michael

Are you going to proceed with non-responsive maintainer efforts?

Comment 5 Michael Simacek 2019-07-29 10:47:52 UTC
Hi Greg, I currently don't have time to pursue the process because of travelling. Feel free to continue the effort.

On fedora-devel it was reported that this package should be/will/was orphaned. Probably time to close this bug, then?
