Description of problem:
When glusterd comes online, bricks will be started asynchronously. There is no way to wait until they come up. We at least need a script which will do this.

https://github.com/gluster/gluster-block/blob/master/extras/wait-for-bricks.sh has the script. This was mostly done for gluster-block project so we got it merged in that project.
