Actually, I'm not sure I see any ABI break w/ the "upstream" patch 
(fj-linux-2.4.21-ipv6-NA-26489.2.patch)...I'll do a test kernel w/ that one...

A fix for this problem has just been committed to the RHEL3 U6
patch pool this evening (in kernel version 2.4.21-32.7.EL).
