Description Sathiya Moorthy Karan 2018-04-04 13:07:19 UTC
Description of problem:
Horzion Dashboard shows 504 Gateway timeout if we upload a image more than 1 GB in Galera. We also face same problem while taking snapshot of the machine.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHOSP 11 Ocata

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to Horzion Dashboard
2. In Admin tab, Image tab.
3. Upload a new image more than 1 GB.

Actual results:
Horizon Dashboard gets 504 gateway error, image not uploaded.

Expected results:
Image should uploaded completed without error.

Additional info:
I was able to upload the image through CLI but at the same time dashboard is not available and shows a error 504.

We don't save image content in the galera DB itself, what makes you think it's a galera issue, and not a timeout in glance, horizon, or any other service in between?

I don't see any logs attached to that bugzilla. In case you are a customer/partner, I would suggest to open a case on the dedicated portal, as this is the standard process and ensures proper logs are collected (e.g. sosreports) and ease tracking and resolution.

Comment 4 Cyril Roelandt 2018-04-18 12:27:52 UTC
If the image upload works through the CLI, I'd argue it might be a Horizon bug. As Damien pointed out, we may want the logs to debug this properly.

Any updates - does this work via the CLI?
