Description Ashmitha Ambastha 2018-04-05 10:23:24 UTC
Document URL: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/3.9/html-single/installation_and_configuration/#setting-path

Section Number and Name: 2.6.3.9. Configuring Red Hat Gluster Storage Persistent Storage and more specifically in 2.6.3.9.1

Describe the issue: We do not require to have glusterfs in the [OSEv3:children] group of the inventory file to set up OCP 3.9 using advanced installer.

Suggestions for improvement: It makes no significance by adding glusterfs there.

Additional information: I've tried advanced installation to set up OCP 3.9 + CNS 3.9 without adding glusterfs in the [OSEv3:children] group and was able to successfully deploy.
