RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Matthias Clasen 2018-04-16 22:45:37 UTC
As part of the desktop rebase in 7.6, we need to rebsase gnome-documents to the version that is shipped with GNOME 3.28.

Comment 2 Kalev Lember 2018-05-24 18:47:23 UTC
Rebase branch: http://pkgs.devel.redhat.com/cgit/rpms/gnome-documents/log/?h=private-rhel-7.6-rebase

rishi, can you help rebase the gnome-documents-getting-started.patch patch that I commented out? I think the rest were correct to drop, right?

Yes, I am looking into this now.

Comment 4 Debarshi Ray 2018-06-07 09:28:24 UTC
Pushed everything into rhel-7.6, however it can't be built due to:

DEBUG util.py:257:   --> poppler-utils-0.26.5-17.el7_4.x86_64
DEBUG util.py:257:   --> docbook-style-xsl-1.78.1-3.el7.noarch
DEBUG util.py:257: Error: Package: inkscape-0.92.2-2.el7.x86_64 (build)
DEBUG util.py:257:             Requires: numpy
DEBUG util.py:257: You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
DEBUG util.py:257: You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
DEBUG util.py:340: Child returncode was: 1

I see that inkscape still requires numpy, so I don't know what's going on with the buildroots.

That's because:
TagError: Package numpy blocked in rhel-7.6-gnome
