Description Amar Tumballi 2018-04-19 06:18:14 UTC
Description of problem:
Red Hat Inc., along with other industry leaders committed to enforcement statement.

GlusterFS, while we are committed to GPL (FreeSoftware licenses), would like to handle the GPL cure enforcement statement.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
GlusterFS project, master.

Expected results:
Gluster Project will be committed to this.

COMMIT: https://review.gluster.org/19902 committed in master by "Amar Tumballi" <amarts@redhat.com> with a commit message- add COMMITMENT file as part of GPL cure

This is part of more broader commitment Red Hat along with
IBM, Google, and Facebook did in November 2017.

This bug is getting closed because a release has been made available that should address the reported issue. In case the problem is still not fixed with glusterfs-5.0, please open a new bug report.

glusterfs-5.0 has been announced on the Gluster mailinglists [1], packages for several distributions should become available in the near future. Keep an eye on the Gluster Users mailinglist [2] and the update infrastructure for your distribution.
