Description Abdulkadir Furkan Şanlı 2018-04-19 19:54:20 UTC
Description of problem: The trackpad on my Thinkpad X240 is very imprecise and extremely impractical to use. This is the exact same bug as Bug 1425607. Using synaptics driver in xorg is a viable solution, however I prefer to use Wayland as GNOME is much better performing.

Using the fix mentioned in comment 1 of the said bug report yields unsatisfactory results, fixing the jitter but resulting in a cursor that goes either too slow or too fast.

Comment 1 Peter Hutterer 2018-04-20 05:42:30 UTC
Closign as upstream, given that you filed the same bug there and it's me who has to deal with both of them anyway...
