Description Paul Dwyer 2018-05-11 13:20:06 UTC
Description of problem:
Customer is reporting an increase in blob unknown messages when uploading images to internal registry

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
OpenShift version 3.1.44
ose-docker-registry image version 3.4.1.44
registry is scaled to 3 using gluster backed PV
sessionAffinity of docker-registry service is set to ClientIP

How reproducible:
intermittent, no discernible pattern
no recent changes
sometimes repushing image will work but can take several attempts

Additional info:
Not seeing much in registry logs, will attach

I have noticed that 2 out of the 3 pods are running on same infrastructure node
