Description of problem: My Fedora 28 Workstation can't update xz-libs from 5.2.3 to 5.2.4 because perl-Compress-Raw-Lzma is installed and depends on the former. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.081-1.fc28 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run "dnf update" 2. Watch the update fail with the following message: Problem 1: package perl-Compress-Raw-Lzma-2.081-1.fc28.x86_64 requires xz-libs(x86-64) = 5.2.3, but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install both xz-libs-5.2.4-2.fc28.x86_64 and xz-libs-5.2.3-7.fc28.x86_64 - cannot install both xz-libs-5.2.3-7.fc28.x86_64 and xz-libs-5.2.4-2.fc28.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package xz-libs-5.2.3-7.fc28.x86_64 - cannot install the best update candidate for package perl-Compress-Raw-Lzma-2.081-1.fc28.x86_64 Actual results: The xz-libs update is skipped Expected results: xz-libs should be updated and perl-Compress-Raw-Lzma should use it.
