Description of problem: I put Fedora-Workstation-28-1.1.aarch64.raw.xz on a micro sd card. I uncompressed the partition using gparted. I put the micro sd card in a raspberry pi 3. It started booting, with the usual boot messages. After about 31 seconds, the screen goes blank, and there is no vide. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 28.1.1 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. put image on sd 2. uncompress 3. boot 4. cry Actual results: no video Expected results: video Additional info: I have reported similar problems with fedora 27 and 26 See 1514686 and 1471324. I think it is a good idea to support the pi 2 and 3. If fedora is going to support it, it would be nice if the OS actually finishes booting, and is usable. This issue has persisted for over a year. I presume nobody has ever tested fedora 26, 27 or 28 on a pi, because if they did, they would have the issues I have reported. If nobody tests that it works, I recommend removing claims of raspberry pi 3 support.

Thanks for closing my bug, because you decided to ignore it. I have been reporting this issue for the last 3 versions of fedora. It has not gotten fixed. I have done all I can. I guess you just don't care about raspberry pi's specifically, or addressing bug reports in general. I won't report any more bugs. jeff

Hi Jeff, The RaspberryPI support in Fedora is a community effort and not something that is staffed by Red Hat. This means that how well it works or if someone tracks bugs filed against it depends on community contributors doing those jobs. I don't know the current state of the community around Raspberry PI, but I have been told some version of the board does work with latest Fedora releases. If you are interested I suggest going on the #fedora-arm channel on irc.freenode.net and see if you can find any further information there.
