These should be fixed with texlive-2017-9.fc29. Please reopen if not (or if you see others).
(In reply to Tom "spot" Callaway from comment #1) > These should be fixed with texlive-2017-9.fc29. Please reopen if not (or if > you see others). Does not seem to work entirely. For the current rawhide, and with other updates installed, after 'dnf update --best texlive*' I see: Error: Problem: package texlive-collection-pstricks-7:svn45079-9.fc29.noarch requires texlive-collection-plaingeneric, but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install the best update candidate for package texlive-collection-pstricks-6:svn40724-43.20160520.fc29.noarch - nothing provides texlive-hlist needed by texlive-collection-plaingeneric-7:svn44986-9.fc29.noarch with texlive-hlist apparently MIA.
Yeah, hlist was not the only one missing. modulus, olsak-misc, randomlist, simplekv, trigonometry, and xii-lat were missing. Added them in -10, which is building now.
(In reply to Tom "spot" Callaway from comment #3) > Yeah, hlist was not the only one missing. modulus, olsak-misc, randomlist, > simplekv, trigonometry, and xii-lat were missing. Added them in -10, which > is building now. Oh, well. I have only a subset of texlive installed. I tried to make it "reasonable" in some sense but installing everything available would be "somewhat impractical" in my case. Mostly due to limits in my connection to the net. Sorry!
(In reply to Tom "spot" Callaway from comment #3) > Yeah, hlist was not the only one missing. modulus, olsak-misc, randomlist, > simplekv, trigonometry, and xii-lat were missing. Added them in -10, which > is building now. Something apparently went askew. This time I was greeted with: Problem: package texlive-collection-pstricks-7:svn45079-10.fc29.noarch requires texlive-collection-plaingeneric, but none of the providers can be installed - cannot install the best update candidate for package texlive-collection-pstricks-6:svn40724-43.20160520.fc29.noarch - nothing provides texlive-xii needed by texlive-collection-plaingeneric-7:svn44986-10.fc29.noarch Things are obstinate.
Things are improving! That's an easy fix, -12 is building now.
(In reply to Tom "spot" Callaway from comment #6) > Things are improving! In a sense. With the current updates texlive-collection-plaingeneric and texlive-collection-pstricks were accepted but, for a change, the following showed up: Problem: cannot install the best update candidate for package texlive-collection-mathextra-6:svn40076-43.20160520.fc29.noarch - nothing provides texlive-algobox needed by texlive-collection-mathscience-7:2017-14.fc29.noarch
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle. Changing version to '29'.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 29 is nearing its end of life. Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 29 on 2019-11-26. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '29'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 29 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
Fedora 29 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2019-11-26. Fedora 29 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
