Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 1581758
CVE-2018-11355 wireshark: Heap-based Buffer Overflow in packet-rtcp.c
Last modified: 2018-08-09 20:35:57 EDT
A flaw was found in Wireshark 2.6.0, the RTCP dissector could crash. It may be possible to make Wireshark crash by injecting a malformed packet onto the wire or by convincing someone to read a malformed packet trace file. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-rtcp.c by avoiding a buffer overflow for packet status chunks.
