the-new-hotness/release-monitoring.org's scratch build of pacman-5.2.1-1.fc29.src.rpm for rawhide failed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=38698838
Created attachment 1664410 [details] 0001-Upgrade-to-pacman-5.2.1.patch The following patch allows to compile a clean 5.2.1 pacman package (https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=41689041) This upgrade is required because a change in the 5.2.x pacman release makes it impossible to use mkosi to build new arch images (a 5.0.x bootstrap can not install a pacman 5.2.x based environment) see https://forum.manjaro.org/t/howto-rescue-your-system-error-hook-invalid-value-path/123226 for some explanation. Couple of comments on this: - some tools were removed, I blindly removed them from the rpm, not sure if we need to add them back or if we need to request a new pacman-contrib package - I added `libmakepkg.pc` to the pacman rpm, not 100% sure it is the correct place. Note: the patch doesn't add the new sources, I'll let the maintainer do it :)
