Similar problem has been detected: just boot the installer with inst.repo=hd:sdb:/Fedora-Server-dvd.....iso. sdb is created by Virt-manager's "Add Hardware" option addons: com_redhat_docker, com_redhat_kdump blivet-gui-utils.log: cmdline: /usr/bin/python3 /sbin/anaconda cmdline_file: BOOT_IMAGE=vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img inst.stage2=hd:LABEL=Fedora-WS-dvd-x86_64-rawh rd.live.check quiet inst.repo=hd:sdb:/Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-Rawhide-20180603.n.1.iso hashmarkername: anaconda kernel: 4.17.0-0.rc7.git2.1.fc29.x86_64 package: anaconda-29.15 product: Fedora reason: dnf.exceptions.Error: Some packages from local repository have incorrect checksum release: Cannot get release name. version: rawhide
The ISO might be corrupted. Please, try to download it again and verify the checksum. See: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1551311
Just rm the iso from sdb,and copy it there again, didn't see this bug, sorry for the noise.Actually, before I reported the bug,I've tried to do an installation using the original iso ,and it works fine,so maybe something bad happened during the first copy process.
