Description of problem: chronyc does not work from the text console (output is redirected to /dev/null) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): selinux-policy-3.14.1-30.fc28.noarch chrony-3.3-1.fc28.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in from the text console (getty on some /dev/tty*) 2. Run chronyc --help Actual results: Nothing is shown Expected results: Usage message is printed Additional info: chronyc works is run on pty terminals but not tty. The reason chronyd policy uses userdom_use_user_ptys instead of userdom_use_inherited_user_terminals or something similar is very much unclear.
