How reproducible: 3/3

Steps to Reproduce:
1. pod with a PVC backed up with glusterfs-storage
2. git-clone, tar, untar on https://github.com/eclipse/che.git
See this script: https://github.com/hongkailiu/svt/blob/gitWorkload/storage/git/files/scripts/test-git-m.sh


Actual results:
The untar (tar -zxf) command exited with error.

Additional info:
Tried with gp2 and glusterfs-storage-block, it works fine on both of them.

Can you specify the versions of CNS images containing the fix?

It will be part of rhgs 3.5.0. I am not very sure of CNS images that it will be part of.
