Description of problem: The old webkitgtk package which provided libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0 and libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0.so.0 was recently removed from EPEL due to the package being unmaintained. This makes gnucash uninstallable. Perhaps this package should use the newer webkitgtk3. "yum install gnucash" Actual results: --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: gnucash-2.6.21-1.el7.x86_64 (epel-testing) Requires: libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0.so.0()(64bit) Error: Package: gnucash-2.6.21-1.el7.x86_64 (epel-testing) Requires: libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0()(64bit) Expected results: Package gets installed Additional info: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/S3VHBCPMPVZ3NBKR7FQZQE6HBUHVEZ3D/ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1375784
Yes, it cannot use newer webkitgtk. The gross build hacks to bundle it from F27 would need backported, will try and get to that soon.
