Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. Bugs against components "kernel", "kernel-rt", and "kpatch" are only migrated if still in "NEW" or "ASSIGNED". If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Comment 2 Richard W.M. Jones 2018-06-11 11:30:40 UTC
I should say *will be* a dependency of virt-v2v. Since it's
not in the RHEL composes yet we haven't actually added this
dep, but intend to soon.

Comment 3 Lubos Kocman 2018-06-12 07:21:39 UTC
Understood Richard. Please expect that package will not be in compose nor have errata filelists until the new build of virt-v2v which requires nbdkit is placed in errata and nightly passes,

Lubos

Comment 5 Alexander Todorov 2018-07-09 12:34:08 UTC
Not in RHEL-7.6-20180626.0 or rhel-alt.

Comment 6 Lubos Kocman 2018-07-13 12:00:02 UTC
Yes as Pino needs to build new virt-v2v which will pull it in.

Lubos

Comment 8 Richard W.M. Jones 2018-07-26 08:10:54 UTC
Just a note that there is a new subpackage called nbdkit-plugin-vddk
(in nbdkit 1.2.5-1.el7)

It should be in the Server channel.

Therefore setting this bug back to ON_QA to retest.

Comment 9 Lubos Kocman 2018-07-27 09:00:12 UTC
Moving back to assigned as per previous comment

Comment 10 Lubos Kocman 2018-07-27 09:08:56 UTC
Fixed in https://code.engineering.redhat.com/gerrit/gitweb?p=rcm%2Frcm-metadata.git;a=commit;h=2551191dbe6c092b2be1ea71452b1d8b3a33b97e

Richard, change will appear in next nightly. Please reload filelists in your advisory on Monday, and all should be set.

Lubos
