Description Paul Armstrong 2018-06-24 22:06:18 UTC
Description of problem:

hosted-engine deploy fails when root password starts with #

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.2.3

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Using either the web UI or the command line start the installer
2. when prompted for a root password enter a password that begins with #
e.g. #MeOnTheHeadWithAWoodenMallet

3. PrepareVM step fails with a permission denied error after sshd restarts

Actual results:

"Failed to connect to the host via ssh: Warning: Permanently added 'rhv.example.com' (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.\r\nPermission denied (publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,password).\r\n", "unreachable": true}
