Description of problem: Ping Latency metric in Cluster view / Performance section requires clarification. The latency to gluster nodes is from the host where WA is deployed. It's possible that WA is actually deployed on one of the gluster nodes, but this needs to be clarified in the information text for the panel. With out this info customer would not know how the latency is measured. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.4 (Sandbox environment) How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. View Ping Latency panel in the performance section in Cluster view dashboard. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
Assuming this has been reported based on sandbox-usm1 instance, the full package version list follows: ``` [root@sandbox-usm1-server ~]# rpm -qa | grep tendrl | sort tendrl-ansible-1.6.3-5.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-api-1.6.3-3.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-api-httpd-1.6.3-3.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-commons-1.6.3-7.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-grafana-plugins-1.6.3-5.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-grafana-selinux-1.5.4-2.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-monitoring-integration-1.6.3-5.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-node-agent-1.6.3-7.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-notifier-1.6.3-4.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-selinux-1.5.4-2.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-ui-1.6.3-4.el7rhgs.noarch ```

This is the ping latency from server to the storage nodes. Information text needs to be updated to reflect the same
(In reply to Nishanth Thomas from comment #5) > This is the ping latency from server to the storage nodes. Information text > needs to be updated to reflect the same @ju - can you help by providing the correct tool-tip? current tool-tip: "The Ping Latency panel displays the ping latency for each host in a given cluster."
How about "The Ping Latency panel displays the ping latency from the tendrl server to each host in a given cluster being monitored, i.e. this provides insights into the quality of your network connection between the monitoring tendrl server and the tendrl nodes. If tendrl naming is not shown downstream, please replace with the RHGS WA moniker.
Updating text to be more generic i.e. doesn't include word tendrl or WA server: The Ping Latency panel displays the ping latency from the management server to each host in a given cluster being monitored. This provides insights into the quality of your network connection between the management server and the hosts being monitored.
