The fix for this is already in 3.7 and is available with fix to bug 1562004:

but you should really be using https://brewweb.engineering.redhat.com/brew/buildinfo?buildID=716851 which includes another fix.  This was to fix 	Bug 1593297.

I am unable to comment on when these images will be publicly available.

See #c5.  The errata states in the information section its scheduled for release: 2018-Jul-24

The fix is in 3.7.58. But the errata will release v3.7.57. so move bug to modified again.

Issue is fixed with logging-fluentd:v3.7.61-2
